I am a regular customer at Sano, food is ok, service could be better. Today for the first time we were automatically charged a service charge of 12%. I went to complain about that. The guy at the desk said it is custom. Pretty sure in the past it was left up to me whether to tip and what to tip. I complained about it and he acted like I was making it up and it had never been different. I tip when I think service is good. If not I will not tip. So I feel the 12 % was unrightfully charged. I looked at their small letters, nowhere is this practice to be found. So no I did not create a scene. I was not offered my 12% back, so I will not go back to this restaurant. Good luck with your 15 dollars, you just lost a regular.

A great choice for take out!

- It was easy to order through their website with 10% discount for take out which was nice.
- Lots of parking spots in their plaza, so no worries about where to park.
- Food was ready after 30min to pick up as they advised when order was completed so no delays!
- We have ordered the maki platter A, overall it was a great, tasty and value for money choice for sure, the only room for improvement could be the Dynamite roll, the size of shrimp compared to cucumber and other ingredients could have been more balanced. Green dragon and spicy salmon rolls were great!
- They followed my instructions perfectly as I asked for extra wasabi and chopsticks!
- No comment how the AYE or dine in experience could be as we had a take out order

To conclude if you ask me if I will go back to this place again or not? The answer is DEFINITELY YES! My suggestion, give them a try!

I loved the service. Everything was in order and not complicated.

The seafood fried rice was tasty and I will order again, but the chicken teriyaki was flavorless unlike other Japanese resto.

Im Sano customer but I never had like today . It was delouse and well done. With nice presentation . The service was excellent though and very fast.
